The Haas & Czjzek porcelain factory was established in the town of Schlaggenwald (now Horní Slavkov in the Czech Republic) in 1792. The company became renowned for its high-quality porcelain, particularly its decorative dinnerware and figurines. The factory operated for over 200 years. In 2011, the factory closed. Porcelain produced in Czechoslovakia between the two World Wars (1918-1938) is highly sought after by collectors. This hand-painted piece of tableware is a very rare find.
